Our story starts long before POWERSPED - back in 2010, in a small village in the east of the Netherlands. During our student years, we worked side by side behind the bar. We had no idea what careers lay ahead of us, but one thing was already clear: we liked working together.

Nick went on to build a career in data. Starting as a performance marketeer, he quickly moved deeper into the technical side — from analytics to engineering, machine learning, and GenAI development. Today, he specializes in designing full data foundations and building advanced reporting solutions in Microsoft Fabric.

Niels began as a business consultant and later worked internationally with VNG International, helping governments and organizations collect and transform data for strategic project management. After moving to Luxembourg, he entered the logistics sector with the Luxport Group, where he first encountered WinSped and developed his initial analytics solution on top of it.

That’s when things came together.

Despite WinSped being widely used across Europe, there was no modern, standardized analytics solution. Every company had to build their own. We decided that wasn’t good enough. So we teamed up again — this time not behind a bar, but behind screens — and connected with LIS Netherlands.

Together, we set out to build a strong data foundation and a ready-to-use analytics platform designed specifically for WinSped.

That platform is now POWERSPED.

A solution born from our shared passion for data, our complementary backgrounds, and a simple belief:
